12 MEN CLAIM METRO CHAMPIONSHIP
The Sydney Comets 12 Men have been crowned Waratah Metro Junior League champions defeating the Hills Hornets at Sutherland basketball stadium on Sunday.
Bringing their trademark defensive intensity right from the outset the young comets played their best basketball of the season to led at every quarter defeating a talented Hills Hornets team 61-39.
This result see's the association claim back to back championship's in this age group having also won the title in 2013.
Comet Jordan Roman was awarded the grand final MVP.
The association would like to congratulate the 12 men players and coaching staff on this fantastic team effort and also acknowledge our 12 Women Division 1, 12 Women Division 2 and 18 Women Division 1 on making it through to Sunday's grand final.
