BASKETBALL NSW AWARDS
Basketball NSW held their annual awards dinner over the weekend which recognised the achievements of all associations across New South Wales.
After an incredibly successful year for our referees program it came as no surprise to see the comets collect the award for the association refereeing program of the year (over 2000 registered members).
This is the sixth time the association has won this award in the last nine years and caps off a fantastic year for the comets referees program. Full credit must go to our referees coordinator Megan Thompson and her team of referees who have all performed so well this year.
The association would also like to congratulate the following individuals who were honoured on the night.
Logan Bilby - Waratah Youth League Referee of the Year
Sandra Heta - Scoretable Official of the Year
Paul Mellett - Merit award for contributions to Basketball NSW and City of Sydney Basketball Association
