Weekday sessions


Mid-week Beginner Programs are a series of structured sessions for beginner players in the sport of basketball. It aims to introduce children between the ages of 5 and 10 years to the rules and skills associated with playing the game in a fun and safe environment. Coaches focus on the core skills of dribbling, passing and shooting, and we incorporate these skills is fun-filled activities to keep kids of all ages and skill levels excited and engaged.
Our "Introduction to Basketball" programs are held for 6-8 weeks in each school term at various venues in the northern suburbs from Wavell Heights to Dakabin. Times are generally 4.00 - 5.00pm.
When new players register they will recieve a merchandise pack including a reversible singlet & size 5 ball.
Term One will commence the week beginning 18th February.


Mondays - Dakabin State High School
Tuesdays - Craigslea State School
Wednesdays - Bracken Ridge State School
Wednesdays - South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale
Thursdays - Living Faith Primary School, Murrumba Downs
Fridays - Southern Cross College, Scarborough

Weekend sessions

4-6 year olds
For our youngest players, this is a fun program which introduces young children to dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork activities on a modified court. The program is delivered at Boondall on Saturday mornings from 8-9am all year round (except school holidays).  Included in the registration fee for new players is a merchandise pack consisting of a reversible singlet, size 5 basketball. 
Term One will commence on the 2nd February.

7-10 year old Boys & Girls
This program is a fun and friendly competition. It's the ideal "next step" for players that graduate from our mid-week and Saturday beginner programs.
Players are placed into balanced teams according to age & skill level where they practice basic skills and then compete in informal games against different teams each week.
The program is delivered at Boondall on Saturday mornings all year round (except school holidays).  Included in the registration fee for new players is a merchandise pack consisting of a reversible singlet, size 5 basketball.  
Term One will commence on the 2nd February.

7-10 year old Girls Only
The Hoop Girlz program is a fun and friendly competition for female players. The ideal "next step" for those that graduate from our mid-week and Saturday beginner programs.
Players are placed into teams according to age and skill level where they practice basic skills and then compete against a different team each week.  Note that girls can choose to play in the mixed OR the Hoop Girlz program, however the Hoop Girlz program is strictly NBA (No boys allowed)
The program is delivered at Boondall on Saturday mornings all year round (except school holidays).  Included in the registration fee for new players is a merchandise pack consisting of a reversible singlet, size 5 basketball and a bag.  
Term One will commence on the 2nd February.
