SEABL Lady Spartans v BA COE (AIS)

Following on from their big win last week against fellow playoff-hopeful Ballarat, the Carina Leagues Club Lady Spartans can take a big step towards punching their ticket for the 2016 finals with a win against the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence (BA COE) team on Saturday night. BA COE have not played in the competition since round 8 but have proved themselves to be an extremely dangerous match-up having beaten three East conference playoff teams already this season.

Janelle Adams – Since Joining the Spartans at the beginning of this season Janelle has shown herself to be one of the best guards in the game and has only improved as the season has gone on. Over the last five games her defence on key opposing scorers has also picked up and she has averaged over 2.5 steals in that stretch. With BA COE coughing up a conference high 19 turnovers a game, Janelle will be in her element while pushing for transition points and will quickly
