2014 FRATERNITY CLUB PRE-SEASON

DISTRICT LEAGUE UPDATE

After a rain interrupted first phase of this year’s Frat Cup, the Group Stage/Semi Finals are scheduled to be finalised this Saturday (Feb22) at Memorial Park Corrimal.

The rain interruptions last Sunday mainly effected Groups C & D played at Ian McLennan Park whereas Groups A & B were managed to be completed with Shell Cove FC topping Group A and Thirroul winning Group B.

These two teams will meet in the first semi-final on Saturday.

The highlight of the First Group of games in the Fraternity Cup was undoubtedly Luke Picciolini ’s wonder goal for Corrimal Rangers.

Picciolini received a short pass from the kick off against Picton Rangers and noticing the Goal Keeper well off his line, slammed the ball over the hapless Keeper’s head with the ball nestling in the back the Ranger’s net inside 4 seconds. Stunning!
