SPORTS WIN FRAT CUP IN STYLE

Berkeley Sports finished their Pre-season in style with a resounding six (6) goals to three (3) win over Shell Cove FC in the Final of the District League Fraternity Club Cup Final.

Despite conceding an early goal in the first minute scored by the Cove's Ile Kostovski, the game was as good as over at half-time with the Sport's three goals to the good as the score-line read 4-1 in their favour.

The early setback was cancelled out by youngster Robbie Cull in the 5th minute and once they took the lead five minutes later via the boot of evergreen Chris Rowlan the destination oc the trophy was never in doubt.

Berkeley doubled their lead after 21 minutes courtesy of reliable striker Tony Paglialunga with the first half scoring completed by his strike partner Adam White, five minutes before the break.

Tommy Markovski scored the first of his brace six minutes after the re-start to give his side a glimmer of hope before further goals were added by Cameron Morgan and Beren Sullivan rounded off a stylish win for Coach Jason Higg's side.

Robert Cull was the standout performer for Sports, claiming the Man of the Match.
