FOXTEL A-LEAGUE ALL STAR COMMUNITY PROGRAM

The Foxtel A-League All Stars will be arriving in Wollongong on Friday 1st August for their 6 day training camp

As part of the A-League All Stars visit we have a fantastic opportunity to celebrate football and honour some of the great participants and volunteers we have as part of our football family.

Over the next week, FSC is working with our junior clubs to nominate and acknowledge our club volunteers, and coaches and clubs who have shown commitment to development and the official player pathway.

As a result over the next week we will announce the following:

1. The Community All Star Club Volunteer - one volunteer from each club will be nominated for their commitment and dedication to their club.   These volunteers will be recognised through an invitation to the FSC Sports Dinner, hosting an All Star at their club or afternoon tea with 4 All Star players.

2. The Community All Star Club Coach - two coaches from each junior club will be nominated in recognition of the great job they perform in developing young players in grassroots football.  These coaches are invited to attend a coaching lecture with A-League All Star Coaches.

3. Community All Star Development Club and Players - clubs who have committed to development and the FFA official pathway will be rewarded with some of their players being able to attend special clinics and be part of the open training session.

We will announce our Community All Star recipients early next week so stay tuned.

We do recognise that there are so many wonderful coaches and volunteers involved in our game and it is impossible to acknowledge each and every one of our football community.  However this is a great start and we look forward to building on this concept each year.

The schedule of the All Stars visit will be available on the Football South Coast Facebook page and our website @ www.footballsouthcoast.com.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
