FNSW OVERVIEW

2013 was the inaugural year of the relaunched SAP, uniting the previous Skill Acquisition Program, Skill Acquisition League and Premier Development Program under one banner to deliver a consistently administered program.

The program was developed to provide a clear, professionally delivered development opportunity for young NSW footballers that underpins the National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s and Women’s Competitions.

Learning from the 2013 experience and benefiting from the good work of the licensees throughout the season, we look to improve on areas of the program in 2014 and provide the State’s young players the best possible learning environment for them to realise their footballing dreams.

SAP VISION

“FNSW will provide young players an opportunity to experience an enhanced football environment, above that provided in community football that will prepare them for the technical and tactical challenges of National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s and Women’s Competitions”

SAP MISSION

“FNSW, following a comprehensive review of 2013 SAP, will review and improve the program structure offered to players in 2014.”

“The 2014 SAP structure will be licensed to FNSW members that meet minimum standards including facilities, coaching and football philosophy consistent with the FFA National Curriculum and FFA and FNSW goals and objectives.”
