WOMEN'S CLUB'S SUPPORT LEUKAEMIA

Every Year the Women’s competition supports a nominated charity where each club raises money to support the chosen cause.

This weekend all 40 women’s teams will take to the field on Sunday in support of the Leukaemia Foundation. The women’s teams will be hoping to make a difference this weekend as it is a personal fight for some of our registered players both this year and in previous years.

Leukaemia is a cancer that affect the blood and bone marrow where blood cells are made.
More than 3200* people are expected to be diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia this year alone, this is equivalent to eight people every day.

Here’s how you can help:

Come down to any of the following grounds to make a donation, all home clubs will have Merchandise packs from the Leukaemia foundation, some clubs will also be running raffles at their grounds.

Catch the women’s action at any of the below grounds and help make a difference.

Home Teams are:
Albion Park
Kiama Quarries
Berkeley
Fernhill
Wollongong Olympic
Wests Illawarra
Helensburgh
Port Kembla
Figtree

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
