Wollongong Wolves and Football South Coast – Skills Acquisition Program (SAP)

 

The Illawarra and South Coast enjoy the luxury of having two Skills Acquisition Programs (SAP).

 

Both the Wollongong Wolves and FSC hold SAP licenses and this of course means greater opportunities for juniors to represent the region through representative football.

 

Understanding the commitment and time players and parents put in to developing their passion for football, the Wollongong Wolves and Football South Coast are pleased to announce joint trial dates for SAP.  This will make the whole process simpler and eliminate any unnecessary duplication of services

 

The program for Under 9’s, 10’s,  11’s and 12’s aims to provide young players an opportunity to experience an enhanced football environment, above that provided in community football with training 3 nights a week and games played each week across NSW.

 

Wollongong Wolves and FSC will continue to run individual licenses, however will be running joint trials.  All trialists are able to highlight their preferred program (ie Wollongong Wolves or FSC) and selected players will be placed based on their preferences.

 

The Wollongong Wolves and FSC are very mindful of delivering to all our parents and players the maximum flexibility and choice possible.

All SAP participants, regardless of program selected, will be given an equal opportunity to progress to the NSW National Premier League or the Regional Youth League.

Trial Dates and times:

6th November (Sunday) – U9/U10 8:30 arrival for a 9am start, U11/U12 – 10am arrival for a 10:30 start

10th November (Thur) – U9/U10 4pm arrival for a 4:30 start, U11/U12 – 5:30pm arrival for a 6pm start

13th November (Sunday) – times to be advised

Trial Location: Ian McLennan Park, Kembla Grange
