IMB BANK CONTINUE SPONSORSHIP

Thousands of young Illawarra footballers say thanks to IMB Bank

Close to 10,000 junior footballers and their referees are benefiting in 2017 thanks to the generosity of IMB Bank in its second season as a sponsor of Football South Coast.

CEO Robert Ryan said the funding was in addition to other community sponsorships and the $500,000 IMB Bank Community Foundation donates each year to the areas in which it operates.

“Participation by young people in sports – particularly team sports – is a great way for them to learn life skills that will benefit them as they leave school and enter the workforce.

“IMB Bank has an ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and we are delighted to be involved again in football this year,” he said.

Football South Coast CEO Ann-Marie Balliana welcomed IMB Bank’s commitment as the season prepares to kick off.

“We are very grateful for IMB Bank’s support again in 2017 and delighted with our association with such a key business organisation,” she said.

The football season begins on 1 April 2017.
