Over the past few seasons, Richard "Macca" Davis has become one of the most recognised figures in local women’s football as the coach of Albion Park.

Under his tutelage, the side has achieved remarkable success including three State Cups, a Champions of Champions, three Grand Finals and four League Championships - the fourth of which they wrapped up at the start of August after completing a perfect season (16 wins from 16 matches).

Macca believes the women’s game has progressed but he knows there is still plenty of work to do before it has realised its full potential. In this episode, we get his opinions on what needs to change and what are the biggest issues facing women’s football in the Illawarra?

We also get his thoughts on the upcoming Women’s Division 1 finals series where Albion Park play long time rivals Tarrawanna and Woonona take on Kiama.
