Wouldn't it be great to be able to stay in touch with the latest news in Queensland basketball, see upcoming events and let your friends know you're attending, and even receive notifications on when there's a basketball game or tournament on near you - all in the one place at your fingertips?

Guess what? There's an app for that!

We recently launched the Basketball Queensland app for Apple, Android and HTML5 devices, to give basketball fans everywhere instant access to a variety of services all in one application...and it's free. 

One of the best things about the new app is the ability to let your friends know you're attending a game or event. Simply tap 'I'm Going' in the event listing and other app users will be able to see your Facebook/Twitter/Google+ profile picture in the list of attendees - you can even comment and upload pictures on the Event listing via your selected social media profile.

Set the app up to receive push notifications and you can receive alerts about games, tournaments and events near you - never miss a game again!

Access Basketball Queensland's social media profiles via the app, check out galleries of basketball action from across the state, and catch up on the latest news from the Basketball Queensland website - all in just a couple of taps. 

This new app is part of Basketball Queensland's vision to be an innovative body, at the forefront of our sport. It provides a platform for all our associations, members and supporters to be informed, communicative, engaged and be heard.
