Basketball NSW is pleased to announce that the Central Coast Crusaders will host the 2016 Molten Waratah League Finals at the Scholastic Sports Stadium on August 13 & 14.

The finals weekend is always an exciting time of the year, as the top senior teams from across the state all come together to battle it out to determine who will be crowned as the State Champion.

Over the 2 days there will be 21 games played across the 7 divisions of the Molten Waratah League, the semi finals will be played on Saturday with the Grand Final games on the Sunday.

“The Central Coast Crusaders (Gosford City) are delighted and honoured to be able to host this Flagship Event on the Basketball NSW Calendar. To be given the opportunity to host this Premier Event is an enormous coup for our Club and the Central Coast Region. We have a proud and successful history of hosting major events and we look forward to creating a great atmosphere and providing another memorable and exciting weekend of high level basketball action.” said Chris Ohlback on behalf of the association.

Basketball NSW CEO Daniel Martinez commented "The Crusaders (Gosford) has a proud and successful history of hosting major events including numerous Australian Junior Championships, international games and previous Waratah League Finals weekends and we are convinced that we will once more experience a fantastic basketball atmosphere".

Tickets for the 2016 Molten Waratah League Finals will go on sale on Monday the 8th of August.
