For some 20 odd years Rockhampton Basketball has worked towards constructing a second indoor court to co-exist with Hegvold Stadium. In the past 5 years the focus has altered as it became apparent that while a second indoor court facility would serve the community well – it was further recognised that the need for a third indoor court would quickly be upon us.
The only downside is the funding we have received from the Federal and State Government as well as the Rockhampton Regional Council has only been able to assist so far – we are sourcing a loan to complete various projects around the new and existing venue.
One of the projects will be the beautification of the grand entrance to our new facility – we will pave this area with bricks and pavers to provide an enticing entrance while also providing an area for our members and guests to relax under the shade of the heritage listed Morteon Bay Fig tree. Opportunities for your name, your children’s names, your business name, or dependant on size, your business logo could become etched into Rockhampton Basketball history on one of these pavers or bricks.
We have four options of commitment with our “Buy a Brick” campaign and they are as follows:
Platinum Brick '100 Club' Package:
The 100 Club package provides the purchaser with the option of a business name and/or logo appearing on a 900mm x 900mm paved area in a premium zone of the entrance that will be determined by ballot. The receipt for your brick/paver will gain you admittance to the Platinum Brick 100 Club Package Evening at which the draw will occur that will determine the positioning of your piece of history. The draw will be conducted in the Mezzanine Level of the new facility and some complimentary beers, wines and nibbles will be served – the date and time of this evening is yet to be determined. The price for a 900mm x 900mm paver is $2000 GST incl.
Gold Brick Package:
The Gold package provides the purchaser with the option of a business name and/or logo appearing in a 600mm x 600mm paved area in a prime position near the entrance to the new facility. The price for a 600mm x 600mm paver will be $900 GST incl.
Silver Brick Package:
The Silver package provides the purchaser with the option of a business name and/or logo appearing in a 300mm x 300mm paved area in a prime position near the entrance to the new facility. The price for a 300mm x 300mm paver will be $250 GST incl.
Bronze Brick Package:
The Bronze package provides the purchaser with an opportunity to have their name, or perhaps their children’s or family's names on a 230mm x 110mm brick that will be ideally positioned between the footpath and entrance that it also covers the shaded area which has been earmarked as BBQ area in the future. The price for a 230mm x 110mm brick will be $55 GST incl.
Rockhampton Basketball’s “Buy a Brick” campaign is a uniquely different opportunity not to be missed. These quality pavers and bricks are of a heavy duty and the names/logos are stamped 'into' the brick (not on the brick) at time of make and then are laid specific to our requirements. These bricks/pavers will be a permanent reminder to the organisation and the guests of Rockhampton Basketball into the future of your contribution to our new facility.
