AGM 

The Maroochydore Eagles Basketball Association Incorporated will be holding their Annual General Meeting to elect the new positions for the 2015-2016 year.

Venue is the Suncoast Clippers Stadium Club room. Date is Wednesday the 25th November 2015 starting at 6.30 pm.

All financial members, Associate & registered, are welcome to attend and vote.

The order of Business of the AGM will be:

• Presenting the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
• Presentation of the Presidents annual report
• A report of the statement of income and expenditure, assets and liabilities and mortgages, charges and securities affecting the property of the association for the preceding financial year.
• Receiving the Auditors report upon the books and accounts for the preceding year.
• Elections as follows: (Those positions that will become vacant)

•   President – 1 Years
•   Vice President – 2 Years
•   Secretary - 2 Years
•   Treasurer – 1 Year
•   Board Positions -2 x 2 Years
•   Board Position – 1 Years
•   Patron Yearly
•   Auditor Yearly

• Awarding  of Life Membership

We would also like to welcome other Members who are interested in being involved in positions, other than the Board, to submit their interest in volunteering on Sub committees. Please refer the attachment for committees that form a vital part of our Association.

Nominations should be in writing and in the hands of the Secretary at least 7 Days prior to the A.G.M. As such Nominations will close on Wednesday the 18th of November. Last mail accepted will be received same day, the 14th November. Please send your nominations in a sealed envelope marked “Confidential” and addressed to:

The Secretary: Maroochydore Eagles Basketball Association Incorporated and hand deliver to the Stadium office, addressed as above, & place in the locked box provided.

All Nominations will be displayed in a conspicuous position in the Stadium from Wednesday the 18th November, seven days prior to the AGM. All Candidates and their Nominees must be a financial Member of Maroochydore Eagles Basketball Association Incorporated. Where there are no nominations for a position, prior to the closing date, nominations will be taken from the floor on the night.
