Trish Adams enters her first coaching position with a senior Australian Team, having previously served as Assistant Coach of the U19 Australian Team 2007 and State Based Coach of the U19 Australian Team 2003. Trish was also Head Coach of the Australian Women’s Development Squad in 2008.
Trish has coached eight South Australian state teams; U15 2008, U17 2002 & 2003, U21 2004, 2005 & 2006 and Senior 2008(assistant) & 2009. Trish also has 20 years of club coaching at Brighton and has been involved with coaching Japanese touring teams since 1999.
Trish’s playing career spans 22 years with Brighton and eleven South Australian state teams; U16 1991 – 1994, U21 1998 and Senior 1999 – 2002 & 2007, 2008. Trish’s representation in Australian Teams includes; U19 Australian Team 1995 (Captain) Gold Medallists, Australian Team 1999 England Tour and Australian Team 2001 Silver Medallists.
Scott Smith began his involvement in lacrosse with the U19 Australian Women’s Team 2007, serving as a state based physiotherapist for both the squad and team phases. Scott continued with the U19 Australian Women’s Team 2011.
Scott brings a high level of professionalism and has extensive experience and a 20-year association with high performance athletes from a variety of sports. He is currently serving positions with Tennis Australia, Sturt FC - SANFL, Adelaide Cougars Netball and Elite Golf – Adelaide. Scott owns and operates Flex Rehabilitation Clinics in Adelaide, employing 20 staff.
Head Coach Max Madonia, is very pleased to have both Trish and Scott on board, as they prepare the Australian Women’s Team for the 2013 World Cup, and looks forward to mentoring the next generation of Senior Women’s coaches.
