TALLYGAROOPNA v LANCASTER
Two of the competition’s most consistent teams will face off in the elimination final.
This will be an intriguing match-up and it will be interesting to see how both of them approach the contest given they faced off in the final home and away round.
It is advantage Tallygaroopna after it proved too strong in the round 20 clash, but Julie Telford will be reminding her players of the job ahead and to forget about what happened in the home and away rounds.
She will be advising her troops to be focussed on the task at hand to ensure they don’t become a spectator.
The return of some key players has made a big difference to the team’s charge towards the finals, which has included a morale boosting win over the reigning premier Nagambie.
Lancaster hasn’t reached the heights of 2014 when it claimed the title, but on its day it is capable of matching it with the best.
Over the years, these two teams have played some wonderful matches and don’t be surprised if this contest is a little closer than last week’s match where Tallygaroopna won by 23 goals.

STANHOPE v VIOLET TOWN
Violet Town has come up a long way under the watch of Benalla legend Pip O’Donoghue since she joined the club a couple of years ago.
The club came desperately close to playing finals last year and the disappointment of missing out has no doubt driven the girls to improve.
And improve they have to comfortably make the finals.
The Towners’ will be out to prove they belong in the finals and this year’s development can be measured by victories against today’s opponent, Tallygaroopna and Lancaster along with competitive efforts against the league’s top two.
Stanhope has been equally as consistent this season, having claimed victories against all the teams inside the top six with the exception of the top two.
Coach Kerrie Gray has done an outstanding job as always with getting her team to another finals campaign.
The team includes a good blend of youth and experience and if the past three meetings between these teams is anything to go by then expect this to be a classic.
