Sue Williams Cup

Willetton and Wanneroo Basketball Associations are pleased to announce the launch of the annual Sue Williams Cup.

The Cup was created to further build on the strong relationship between both Associations.  The one day WABL pre-season tournament will feature fully timed games played in all WABL age groups with the Association having the most combined wins, winning the cup.

The Cup has been named in honour of WSBL player Sue Williams, the  tied all time leader  for both Men and Women games played  in the State Basketball League (512 games). Having started in 1990, Sue has played 361 games for Willetton winning four championships and after moving to Wanneroo, she finished her career with a Championship in 2013.

The Cup will be hosted at Willetton Basketball Association, Sunday 13th April 2014. There are combined Association Coach and Referee workshops planned.  Fixtures will be available closer to the date.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
