2017 WABL Grading Tournament
In 2017, Basketball WA will conduct the WABL Grading Tournament out of Wally Hagan Basketball Stadium, Hamilton Hill. As a part of the WABL 5 Year Plan, teams in each age group will be graded into their respective WABL divisions based on their performance at the Grading Tournament (Tournament Progression attached). The tournament will be held on the following dates:
U14 Girls - 25/26 Feb
U12 Girls - 4 Mar FIXTURE ATTACHED
U12 Boys - 5/6 Mar FIXTURE ATTACHED
U14 Boys - 11/12 Mar FIXTURE ATTACHED
U16 Boys and Girls - 18/19 Mar FIXTURE ATTACHED
Teams are seeded prior to the tournament commencing, based on previous year WABL and State Champs results.
Entry to the tournament is free for all players and spectators, with fees included in team registration.
This event is run by Basketball WA and therefore all partipicating players require clearances if they have moved from their 2016 association. Playing an uncleared player will result in fines being adminstered.
All players must wear mouthguards and acknowledge the WABL ZERO Tolerance Policy.
