USCBC partners with USC Sports Science to support junior players

USCBC has recently received a grant from the University of the Sunshine Coast to fund a series of activities focussed on supporting the development of junior players both on the court and educationally. As well as sponsorship for the USCBC representative program, USC Sports Science experts (with considerable experience in national and international sporting arenas and education) will share their knowledge with junior players, parents, coaches and interested club members during monthly ‘inspiring talk’ sessions on Friday nights at the club. Final year USC Sports Science students will also be available to work with the representative and club coaches to help train and support the juniors. USC Sports Science staff and students will be available to consider other partnership opportunities as they arise. If you have any ideas for activities that may benefit the players and the University, please contact USCBC parent Tania Stevenson on 5459 4823 or 0411 399 490 tstevens@Usc.edu.au or Mark Brown, USCBC Treasurer on 5459 4483 mbrown2@usc.edu.au

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
