Reid has spent his entire
career at Tongala except for a
season with Bendigo league
side Golden Square in 2002
and half a season with Finley
in 2003.
‘‘The reason I left Tonny
was because I was playing in
the backline and wanted to
be a centre half -forward,’’
Reid said.
‘‘I established myself there
and came back and played
full-forward and centre halfforward
and now I can play
wherever I want.’’
The 32-year-old is the son
of revered Tongala champion
Daryl Reid and cousin of
club senior games recordholder
Mark Reid.
Andrew said claiming the
club best and fairest and representing
the Goulburn Valley
in 2005 were the
highlights of his career at
Tongala.
‘‘I don’t have many finals
to remember, I think we’ve
only played (senior) finals
two or three times,’’ Reid
said.
‘‘I’m probably too old and
have missed the boat to
think about getting back
there.’’
