Cobram Football Club will go into the 2011 Murray Football League season with an agenda.
The club couldnt capitalise on a strong 2010 season and missed out on grand final glory.
Club president Mick Hoban is confident that wont happen this year.
Were in it to win we want that flag, he said.
Our boys are looking good. Weve had a strong pre-season and the boys are fit.
Unlike last year, were not carrying any injuries into the season, so were hoping for a good start.
Hoban said despite losing a number of last years players, the Tigers had signed a number of new and returning players.
Mick Tassell, Adam Svarce, Mark Pennycuick, Michael Coad, Brennen Mills, Joe ODwyer, Hayden Powells, Jono Andrews and Joel Boyer will all make a start in the senior side this weekend.
Former Cobram player Simon Hicks will also return to the fold after playing a season with Altona last year.
Hoban said this weekends match up against Congupna should be interesting.
I know they (Congupna) lost quite a few players in the off-season it will be a good test for our boys, he said.
Cobram plays Congupna in Congupna on Saturday.
