Mercurial Tom Rumbelow has won the 2014 Flow FM Most Valuable Player. Tommy has enjoyed a wonderful season at the Roosters, being a mainstay in the League team and a big reason behind the Roosters surge to the finals and premiership contention.
There isnt much that Tom cannot do, either as a goal kicking forward, mean defensive or proliffic on baller, he rises to all challenges that coach Chad Fleming asks of him. A wonderful high mark, with an uncanny ability to land on his feet. Well balanced, he keeps his feet in all situations and delivers the ball extremely well on both sides of his body.
A big congratulations to Tom on this very well deserved award.
A medal, trophy and cash award will be presented on Grand Final day at Wudinna.
Coming a close second was midfielder Jared Sampson from Central Eyre, a big season leading the Bulldog midfield and will be important in the Centrals finals campaign. Equal third placings to Rhys Bawden at Western Districts, Ty Mc Kenna of Central Eyre and Jarden Stoetzer of Wirrulla.
The MWFL thanks our sponsor Flow FM for the ongoing support with this award and Country Football in general. Mid West football legend, Mail Medalist and Montgomerie Medalist Tommy Seal will have all the wrap up on this award with Wayne Phillips on the Friday evening Flow FM Sport Show.
