Ahrens Defibrillator Grant - Round 3

We are pleased to announce that the Ahrens Defibrillator Grant is open for its third round.
As you are aware Ahrens are valued supporters of the Heart Foundation and will provide a $1,000 grant to 20 Clubs for the purchase of a defibrillator with the intention to save the lives of players, officials and patrons attending events at your Club, who may suffer a heart attack.
The Ahrens grant will be paid to Clubs purchasing defibrillators (and the associated training package) from any authorised supplier. Clubs are also eligible to receive further funding from Red Cross College to further reduce the cost of purchasing a defibrillator. For your information, the Red Cross Project Defib partnership is as follows:
Defibrillator Cost including Product & Training $4,200
Less Red Cross College Grant $1,600
Sub-Total $2,600
Less Ahrens Grant $1,000
Total Club Cost $1,600

Please note the Ahrens grant of $1,000 will be paid retrospectively to any Club/League which purchases a defibrillator during 2015 to a maximum number of 20 grants.
Applications for Clubs considering the purchase of a defibrillator close for this year on 15th February 2015. All applications will be assessed with a view to ensure a mix of regions receive the grant.
