2015 Winter Competition Rules Released
The Rules for the 2015 Winter Competition have been released and are available for download from the "2015 NWC Rules" page, under "Competitions, then"Winter Season", or click HERE
The Main changes for the season are;
- Premier 1 teams will be staying in our competition for the entire season, and not leaving after Round 1 to go to RSL (RSL will be by application and an extra competition).
Consequently all senior grades will follow the same competition format (Previously Premier 1 & 2 had a differnet format for the season)
- ANZ Championship franchise players must be registered in a Premier 1 team no later than 31 May
- All teams will be allowed to have a 'name' or 'colour' etc, attached to their team, but must still be numbered by club ranking
- We are looking at having First Aid provided at both venues for the season (To Be Confirmed)
- College teams in Premier & Premier Reserve grades will be required to provide 2 team umpires after they have played each week (Previously this was only compulsory for the Premier grade teams)
- Collegiate 4 grade will now be played at the Hataitai Courts and not at the ASB Sports Centre
