Dates for Mama Brown Summer Twilight (Term 1) 2015:

Monday Hataitai Women's League starts Monday 9th February and runs for 8 weeks ending Monday 30th March with no rain cancellation day reserved due to limited weeks leading up to Easter. SPACES STILL AVAILABLE
Wednesday Mixed & Women's League starts Wednesday 11^th February and runs for 8 weeks ending Wednesday 1st April. NOW FULL - ENTRIES CLOSED
Thursday Mixed & Women's League starts Thursday 12^th February and runs for 8 weeks ending Thursday 2nd April.  NOW FULL - ENTRIES CLOSED

Venues:
Outdoors on Mondays nights for those keen to make the most of the longer evenings playing in the fresh air up at the Hataitai Netball Courts, 43 Ruahine Street, Hataitai
Indoors on both Wednesday & Thursday nights for Mixed & Women's teams for those that wish to play on wooden floors without a care for the weather at the ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie.

Grades:
We are excited to announce a couple of new grade options for our outdoor Monday Summer Twilight competition at Hataitai.  Along with the usual Competitive, Intermediate, Social & Collegiate grade options we are now offering Under 20's & Over 40's grades. We will be trialling the options in our Womens Only competition at Hataitai for the Term 1 Summer season and potentially looking to add it to our Mixed competitions at the ASB Sports Centre for the Autumn & Winter Twilight competitions.  Both the new grades are a growth area for the sport, and offering grades in those age groups will give the teams more choices to play in either 'open grades' or their age group.
Wednesday and Thursday League grades - Competitive, Intermediate and Social

 

Game Times:
There are up to four rounds played per night - the first round starts at 6.15pm, second at 7.05pm, third at 7.55pm and where necessary the final round starts at 8.45pm and finishes by 9.25pm.

Fees:
Monday Hataitai Women's League: $300 per team
Wednesday ASB Mixed League: $400 per team
Thursday ASB Mixed League: $400 per team
plus for all competitions an additional
Umpire Contribution: $10 cash per game collected at the Registration Desk each game night ($80 cash if paying in up-front in bulk. Please note we cannot accept payments via eftpos, internet banking or cheque)

Optional
We no longer offer bib hire however we do have bib purchase available: $60 paid up front with registration fees.  There are a range of colours to choose from and you get to keep and personalise your own set of 7 bibs for plenty more seasons to come.

Fee Payment
Teams are requested to pay in full up-front prior to the start of the league in order to secure a space. Teams may be invoiced (upon request) and places confirmed via email once paid in full.

Individual Players
We are happy to try and assist individual players who wish to be connected with a team.  Perhaps you have recently moved to Wellington and are keen to get back into netball or don't have enough keen committed friends to put your own team in... whatever the reason, get in touch with Peter via email to games@netballwellington.co.nz and he'll help you out.
