This version of netball is an easy to pick-up, fun and fast 5-a-side version of netball perfectly suited to:

FAST5 Friday League
Start Date: Friday 20th February 2015
End Date: Friday 27th March 2015
Duration: 6 weeks
Game Times: Depending on popularity there may be up to five rounds played per night - the first round starts around 6.00pm and where necessary the final round will start at 8.40pm so all competition is done and dusted by 9.15pm.
Venue: ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie
Grades: Mixed and Womens grades.  Please note that leagues are subject to a minimum number of entries. If team numbers are insufficient, grades or venues/competitions may be combined. Teams will be advised of this if this is necessary.  College teams (Year 10+) and Uni teams welcome!
Cost: $215 per team (works out at around $30 per person per game if split amongst 7 people)
plus for all competitions an additional
Umpire Contribution: $6 cash per game collected at the Registration Desk each game night ($36 cash if paying in up-front in bulk. Please note we cannot accept payments via eftpos, internet banking or cheque)

You organise your team & bibs, we'll organise the rest - balls and umpires included.

Bib Hire 
Playing Bibs are compulsory and Teams can either provide their own, or purchase them from Netball Wellington Centre for $60 per set of 7 bibs.

 

Fee Payment
Teams are requested to pay in full up-front prior to the start of the league in order to secure a space. Teams may be invoiced (upon request) and places confirmed via email once paid in full.

Individual Players
We are happy to try and assist individual players who wish to be connected with a team.  Perhaps you have recently moved to Wellington and are keen to get back into netball or don't have enough keen committed friends to put your own team in... whatever the reason, get in touch with Peter via email to games@netballwellington.co.nz and he'll help you out.

Umpires Welcome!
Keen to keep up your fitness?  Increase your practical experience?  Build umpiring confidence?  Make some pocket-money in the process?
We are keen to hear from confident umpires who wish to extend their netball knowledge by officiating our 2015 Fast5 Friday Competition.
