2016 Term 1 PAK'nSAVE Kilbirnie

Kids' Netball Comp
Join in the fun!

Can't wait for the netball season to start again?
No need to worry - join our Term 1 Kids' Comp!

Why not ask your coach to reunite your team or put together a team with all your friends and keep on playing all year long at our indoor PAK'nSAVE Kilbirnie Kids’ Netball Comp?

It doesn’t matter if your friends go to a different school, whether you play in an existing school team or have never played before - girls and boys are welcome to enter this mixed competition.  So go on, grab some friends, think of a cool team name, create a uniform if you like and enter a team! We offer an 8 week competition with games played after school between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.  Year 5&6 teams play on Wednesdays and Year 7&8 teams play on Thursdays at the Kilbirnie ASB Sports Centre. Balls, bibs, umpires and prizes all sorted for you - all you need to do is rally your team members to get there on the day!  As all games are played indoors there's no need to worry about silly cancellations - we go ahead rain or shine each week.

Venue: ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington
When: Wednesdays or Thursdays for 8 weeks in Term 1
Game Times: 4.00pm, 4.40pm or 5.20pm. Last round finishes by 6.00pm.

Looking for a team to join?
While it is easier to enter a whole team, there are sometimes teams who are looking for individuals to fill-in or make up numbers. Please get in touch to let us know if you are an individual who is keen to be placed in a team and we shall attempt to help find one for you or combine individuals to compete as one awesome fun team!
Please email our Games Coordinator via games@netballwellington.co.nz or phone (04) 387 6016.

Keen to umpire and earn some pocket-money?
Umpires receive a contribution of $8.00 per game on the night. This is a great way to get some more umpiring practice, develop your confidence as a Kiwi Whistler or progress towards your Elementary Badge and keep up your skills and fitness in the off-season while making yourself a little pocket-money. If interested, please email our Games Coordinator via games@netballwellington.co.nz.

For enquiries, please phone (04) 387 6016 or email games@netballwellington.co.nz
