Established in 1915, some 100 years later, the Lock Football Club is planning a weekend of celebrations to commemorate the event.
The weekend of the 18th July has been chosen, this being the closest date to the recorded first game. The rival team on the day will be United Yeelanna, the neighbouring Club to Lock, who only last year celebrated their 50th year of formation.
A committee has been working hard to bring together the history of the club, producing a book, various clothing, merchandise & Heritage Guernsey’s to be worn on the day.
The Lock Football Club welcomes everyone to come and join in the celebrations, it promises to be a great weekend.
