3x3 Qualifying Round to be held in Geelong
The first qualifying round for Basketball Australia’s 3x3 Nationals will be held in Geelong in March, and Bellarine Peninsula basketball players are invited to participate.
The tournament has been scheduled for March 7-8 of the Labour Day weekend, and is open for anyone of appropriate age to participate in. Categories are available for men’s and women’s open, under-14, under-16, and under-18 age groups, and teams can have up to five players (two substitutes).
Teams will be guaranteed at least three games over the weekend, and will automatically qualify for the National finals to be held in Melbourne during May if they reach the quarter-finals of the Geelong tournament.
This is a great opportunity for Bellarine basketball players to participate in a basketball event and qualify for a national tournament. More information can be found at www.basketball.net.au and registrations can be made HERE.
