As part of the recent launch of the Football Queensland Member Benefits Program your SportsPass pack is now available to be collected from your Club. 

Your club has been allocated cards based on registrations in MyFootballClub. 

The sooner your members receive their cards, the sooner they will be able to benefit from them. 

Members will receive;

•          a SportsPass letter with card attached for every player, coach and volunteer registered at through MyFootballClub at your club;
•          a Football Queensland letters to accompany the cards and explain their function to your members; 

If you missed the launch in our recent newsletter, the Member Benefits Program is aimed at rewarding clubs and their members as well giving back to the football community. The SportsPass fundraising and member benefits initiative is a key part of this program. 

SportsPass is a dedicated member rewards program that adds value to club memberships, whilst also providing a new and ongoing funding source for your club. The SportsPass initiative consists of: 

•          The ‘I am a Member’ Card is for your registered members. They can register this card online straight away at www.sportspass.com.au to benefit from discounts from over 130 companies and brands Australia wide (E.g. Movie World, Pizza Capers, Baskin Robins, Expedia, Goodlife Health Clubs). The registration process is very simple and will identify your club as the benefactor of any eligible rebates from your members using the card; and 

•          The ‘I am a Supporter’ Card is a fundraising card. Every member will receive one of these cards on the same letter as their Member Card. They can give this card to their family members or friend who can activate this card for $25 and receive all the same benefits as Football Queensland members. 

Half of the sale of this Supporter Card goes straight back to your club. If 100 of your members sell their supporter cards, your club will receive $1,250. It is important to promote these cards as fundraising cards to encourage your members to sell them. The more cards you sell, the more financial benefits your clubs will receive. In the near future Football Queensland will have just the supporter cards available (by themselves, not paired with the member cards) if clubs wish to raise extra funds. 

The other half  of the sale from the cards goes back to SportsPass. 

In handing out your cards we strongly suggest you don’t give ‘I am a Member’ cards to unregistered members at your club. The ‘I am a Supporter’ card is available for non members to purchase and your club will miss out on extra funding opportunities by giving out pre activated ‘I am a Member’ cards to unregistered members.
