The countdown has now started with only four months until the Australian Moto-Trials Championship to be held at Thunderbird Park, Mt Tamborine on 21-22 August, 2010.
It is not the first time that the event has been held at Thunderbird Park and in the past the venue has proven to be excellent.
For those unfamiliar with Thunderbird Park, it is an amazing wildlife and geological oasis which stretches over 112 hectares on Tamborine Mountain. Translucent rock pools, inspiring landscapes, towering rainforests, star studded skies all add to the magic of Thunderbird Park.
The 30 sections have already been selected and during the time leading up to the event they will be cleared and sorted to provide the best for both riders and spectators.
“Queensland is determined to put on a great show for this year’s Australian Championships and we are certain that Thunderbird Park will help make this a reality” commented Queensland Moto-Trials Chairman Robert Eyres.
The supplementary regulations are in the final stages and will soon be released on the Motorcycling Queensland website, along with other sites such as
www.ma.org.au, and
www.aussietitles.com.au. The timing of their release will occur three months prior to the event.
Opportunities are still available for companies or individuals wishing to be part of this event as a
sponsor. If you are interested in the opportunity to sponsor the premier event in Australian Moto-Trials, contact the Motorcycling Queensland Moto-Trials Subcommittee Chairman - Robert Eyers at
admin@redds.com.au or Lyndon Blake at
lyndon@proartracing.com.au for a sponsorship pack.
There are plenty of activities available including fossicking for your own treasures in the world's largest mine of thunder eggs or discovering Australia's first Adventure Park incorporating the largest ropes and adventure games course in our country.
