2016 Junior Representative Squads Named

We would like to thank you for participating in the 2016 Maitland Mustangs Junior Representative Trials. With over 170 athletes trialling this year, I'm sure 2016 will be a strong year in our Junior ranks. 

Below are the girls and boys squads listings.  Congratulations to the athletes that were successful.  For those that were unsuccessful on this occassion, you are still welcome to attend our skills sessions available each Saturday morning.

SATURDAY SKILLS SESSION

U12/14 Men and Women = 8 - 9.30am

U16/18 Men and Women = 9.30 – 11am

Cost - $3 per player

 

The next step for those named in the squads are selected is to participate in 5 weeks of superleague before our final trial.

 SUPERLEAGUE

U12/14 Men and Women = 5 - 6.30pm

U16/18 Men and Women = 6.30 - 8pm

50 mins training followed by 40 minutes games

3on3 - 15 October / 22 October

5on5- 29 October / 5 November/ 12 November

Cost - $20 per player (payable on the first night of competition)

 

The final trial will take place on 19th November 2015

U12/14 Men and Women = 5 - 6.30pm

U16/18 Men and Women = 6.30 - 8pm

 Following this trials the CPL Team, EJL Team and Development Players in each age group will be announced on the website on Monday 23rd November 2015 and the Parent Information Night will take place on Thursday 26th November 2015 @ 6.30pm.

Don’t forget that this Saturday and every Saturday from now till Xmas (except for 28th November) we will be hosting a Skills Saturday Session which is a non-compulsory session for any players wishing to further their basketball skills and fitness.  The stadium is also unavailable on 24th October 2015 instead of a stadium skills session we will be participating in the Maitland Park Run as a club (further information will be sent out regarding this next week).  The skills sessions are open to all players participating in the 2016 Trials regardless of being selected in the squads.
