Affiliated Association Meeting

Football Federation SA (FFSA) hosted a meeting for affiliated Associations on Saturday 15 November.

In attendance were representatives from: South Australian Junior Soccer Association, Whyalla Junior Soccer Association, Port Pirie Junior Soccer Association, York Peninsular, Roxby Downs, Noarlunga & Districts, North West Junior Soccer Association, Western Border and Adelaide Hills Junior Soccer Association.

Regional Development was the main topic discussed including the growth in the number of Regional Associations, growth in participation in Senior & Youth competitions in Regional South Australia, the expansion in the number of regional coaches who have Coach Accreditation Certificates and the expansion of the Regional Round.

John Mundy, Game Development Manager noted the importance of the meeting.

“It  is important that our Member Association’s  realise that it has to be a partnership to achieve positive outcomes for our game and for the representatives that gave up their time, with some of them travelling long distances, they signalled a note of intent to be part of the FFSA vision for the next couple of years.

“There was good feedback from the attendees on the Strategic Plan that was presented and the general consensus was that the meeting had been beneficial.”
