Show your support in the FFSA Charity Month
The Football Federation SA is supporting Cancer Council SA’s Call To Arms in 2011 once again.

The Football Federation SA Charity Month is to be held in July, with Round 14 and 15 of the Senior Men’s Competition and Round 12 of the Adelaide Airport Premier Division being the Charity Rounds. The charity month provides the whole of the football community (men, women, juniors and associations) the opportunity to stand up and fight against cancer. Funds raised from the charity month will be donated to Call To Arms, to assist Cancer Council SA in their fight against cancer in men.


All players and officials are to wear a yellow arm band during their nominated Charity Rounds. All clubs are encouraged to undertake at least one other fundraising activity during the month of July. Clubs have been contacted by Cancer Council SA to register for 2011, they simply call 1300 65 65 85 or visit www.calltoarms.com.au to register. Cancer Council SA will then send out a Club Champion kit with everything they need to for their Charity Match.

In addition all home teams involved in the Devine Super League in Rd 14 and 15 and Women’s Premier Division in Round 12 will wear yellow socks, yellow being the colour representing the call to arms initiative. During these rounds the match officials will be asked to wear yellow tops to support the Call to Arms initiative.
