Northern Schools meet Qantas Socceroos at Cottees 5-a-side Event
Over 200 kids from the Northern schools participated in Football Federation SA’s largest Cottees 5-a-side Competition which launched the brand new facility, Burton Football Complex, on Thursday June 2.
Eight Schools participated in the event including; Karrendi, Burton Primary, Modbury South, Fairview Park, Nailsworth, Kaurna Plains School, Wandana and Rostrevor.
Socceroos Luke Wilkshere, Sasa Ognenovski, Archie Thompson, Mitchell Langerak, Matthew Spiranovic and Adelaide-born James Troisi attended the event in the lead up to their game at Adelaide Oval on Sunday June 5.
