The Northern Women’s Football Expo is being held at Burton Park on Sunday June 25 and it promises to be a great showcase of football.

It kicks off at 9am when Adelaide Airport Division 4 teams Salisbury Inter and Brahma Lodge clash.

Brahma Lodge suffered its first loss last week going down 5-0 to competition leaders NAB while Salisbury Inter also lost after a 4-0 defeat to Elizabeth Downs.

Also at 9am AAL Division 4 outfit Munno Para faces off against UniSa. Munno Para enjoyed a solid win last week defeating Flinders Flames Red 4-0 and looked competitive in their draw with Ingle Farm. Unisa lost to Ingle Farm 5-2 and will be keen to atone.

Closely matched AAL Division 4 opponentsElizabeth Downs and Ingle Farm lock horns at 11am. Elizabeth had a solid win over Salisbury while Ingle Farm should be confident following their victory over Unisa.

At the same time, AAL Division 3 heavies Salisbury Inter face in form Seaford. Salisbury has had a strong season but is recovering from their loss to MUWFC Magic. Seaford has recorded consecutive victories, winning against Para Hills United and Flinders Flames.

AAL Division 1 kicks off at 1pm with Munno Para’s meeting Stirling Districts. Munno Para have suffered recent losses to Seaford and MUWFC Magic in the tight competition while convincing 5-1 win over Adelaide City secured Stirling’s place in the top 4.

On the other pitch, AAL Division 1 leaders Salisbury Inter will take on South Adelaide. South suffered a nail-biting loss at the hands of MUWFC Magic last week despite defeating Gawler 10-2 the previous round. Salisbury defeated Gawler 7-0 last round and look set continue their winning form.
