Jason Trimboli appointed as Modbury coach
Modbury Soccer Club has appointed Jason Trimboli as Senior Coach for season 2013.
A former State representative and highly respected player in the FFSA Super League, Jason played over 400 football matches at first team level during a 20 year playing career.
A prolific striker, Jason scored 290 first team goals and was awarded the FFSA's 'Golden Boot' on six occasions.
He joins the club with a charter to improve on-field performances and develop a stronger bond throughout the three senior teams.
Modbury President Matthew Selby said the club is delighted with the appointment.
"After a successful career as a player and with the coaching experience Jason has gained in the last few years, more recently working alongside some highly credentialed coaches, Jason will be a great fit for the Club going forward."
"Jason's experience as a player and knowledge of the game will prove invaluable in his new role. We are confident he will be a success at Modbury as we work towards the future," Matthew said.
Jason said he welcomed the opportunity to return to Modbury, this time in the capacity of Senior Coach.
"I am looking forward to the challenge that this presents and working with the Senior players and the other Coaches so we can achieve results both on and off the playing field."
In anticipation of an earlier start to the 2013 playing season, Modbury's pre-season Senior training will commence in November.
