Football Federation SA is pleased to announce the Mamee Junior Football Lottery has raised almost $100,000 in its second year, which is more than double the amount raised in its inaugural year.

The major prize was drawn at the FFSA Office on Thursday, June 20 by Mamee representatives Matthew Parry and Ron Rodda and won by Sheila Gatehouse as the winner of First Prize in the.

Gatehouse, who is the Team Manager for the U15 JPL side at Cumberland United, has won a family trip to the UK including return flights and accommodation for two adults and two children, as well as tickets to see a Manchester United match at Old Trafford.

Adelaide Olympic raised just over $12,000 for their club through the sale of the lottery tickets, while Western Strikers brought in $6,500.

Adelaide Blue Eagles and Fulham United were also successful in raising just over $5,000 each for their clubs.

The money raised through ticket sales will go directly into Junior football in South Australia, with all proceeds raised retained by clubs.

Second prize went to Fuchsia Millevoi who won flights, accommodation and tickets to the 2013 Manchester United v A-League All Stars match for 2 adults in Sydney. The winning ticket was purchased through Fulham United.

George Joyce, who purchased his ticket through Gawler Eagles, won third prize, a Peugeot Limited Edition Mountain Bike.

Fourth prize winner Angela Giustozzi also purchased tickets through Fulham United and won a private movie screening for her club for up to 100 members at Event Cinemas.

Wayne Johns purchased tickets through Croydon and won a Manchester United playing strip, signed by Wayne Rooney, while sixth Prize is an Adelaide United Gold Family Season Pass, won by Josh Lapsley who purchased the ticket through The Cove FC where his brother plays.
