Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls
Australia’s most prestigious Junior football tournament for girls is underway at Coffs Harbour International Stadium this week with the Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls.
FFA CEO David Gallop opened the tournament, which commenced on Monday 8th July, and has been hosted by Northern NSW Football at the Coffs Harbour facility since 2006.
Over 350 of Australia’s best young female footballers in the Under 13 and Under 15 divisions will participate in the tournament, with 22 teams from around Australia contesting the two age divisions.
Each age division has two groups, the Under 13s with six teams in each group and the Under 15s with five. South Australia’s U13 team is being lead by Sharon Black with the U15’s coached by Jonathan Ruse.
The Championships conclude on Friday 12th July when Champions will be decided.
