2013 National Paralympic Championship
The 2013 National Paralympic Championships commence today, 30 September 2013 in Coffs Harbour.
The squad have been training hard and have competed well in the friendly fixtures leading up to the Championships.The Nationals will see a tough start for the boys however against a strong NSW side.
The 2013 team consists of a 12 man squad including 2 Pararoos players Ryan Kinner and Tom Goodman and several new players.
The 2013 Team Captain is experienced player Damien Jennings. Damien is a key member of the team and a great leader with an excellent game attitude who can really set the tone for matches and someone whom the players can look up to and follow advice from.
Head Coach Susan Bassett said “The players have shown lots of progression over the last few months and have also grown in both strength and confidence.
“I am very pleased with how the team have been performing at training and looking forward to taking them away to the 2013 Nationals”.
