SA Power Networks Partner Lady Reds for Westfield W-League Season 2013/14
Women’s Football in South Australia has today received a boost with the announcement of SA Power Networks partnership with Football Federation SA.
The agreement will see SA Power Networks as Front of Shirt Sponsor of the Westfield W-League Lady Reds team for Season 2013/14.
“Women’s Football in South Australia continues to expand in the state as Football nationally gains further recognition as a sport of choice for youth participants.
“The Federation is delighted to be associated with SA Power Networks. The opportunity this partnership presents both parties is very exciting” said Football Federation SA Chief Executive Officer Michael Carter.
SA Power Networks Chief Executive Officer Rob Stobbe said the electricity distributor was excited to be ‘Front of Shirt’ sponsor of the team.
“We have a track record of encouraging and supporting women’s sport and we believe the Lady Reds Westfield W-League team provides a great focus for encouraging more women into the world game.
“As South Australians working for South Australians, we’re thrilled to support the SA team in the Westfield W-League” Mr Stobbe said.
“The Lady Reds has brought together a great team, including Coach Ross Aloisi and Captain Kristy Moore, and we look forward to them kicking goals for SA.”
The Westfield W-League kicks off on Saturday 9 November with the Lady Reds first home game to be held at Burton Football Complex on Saturday 16 November at 2:00pm.
