Adelaide City Claim 2014 Charity Cup
The 2014 National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) Showcase Day was held on Sunday 16 March at the Adelaide Shores Football Centre.
The event launched the Women’s Premier League Competition which commences on the 23rd of March.
The day also provided an opportunity to raise much needed funds for the NBCF and Football Federation SA is pleased to advise that over $1,000 was raised for the charity.
The feature match of the event was the Women’s Premier League Charity Cup between 2013 Women’s Premier League Champions Adelaide City and 2013 Cup winners Metro United Women’s Football Club.
Adelaide City claimed the Cup over MUWFC with a 4-0 win. Susan Bassett netted two for the black and whites with Daniela Di Bartolo and Dragana Klajcic both with 1 each.
