Australian Referees to Officiate at FIFA World Cup

The referees for the FIFA World Cup matches 24-26 have been announced with Australia's team of officials, led by Ben Williams and assisted by Matthew Cream and Hakan Anaz, have been appointed to Saturday morning’s Group E fixture between Honduras and Ecuador.

Local Football Federation SA Referee, Matthew Cream, will be involved in his first ever World Cup match.

Since his inclusion to the FIFA Assistant Referee Panel in January of 2000, Matthew boasts numerous achievements in his career. These include officiating in the 2005 and 2009 Confederations Cup, the 2012 London Olympic Games, numerous Asian Cup Qualifiers, AFC Champions League matches and can now add the 2014 FIFA World Cup to the list.
