Inaugural PS4 Women's National Premier & State Leagues Announced

Football Federation SA is pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural PlayStation 4 Women’s National Premier League (WNPL) and Women’s State League (WSL) in South Australia.

The formation of the PlayStation 4 WNPL, to start in 2016, marks a new era for female football in South Australia  with eight clubs to take part in the top flight competition.

The establishment and implementation of the PlayStation 4 WNPL and WSL has taken over 12 months, including  consultation with a wide cross section of key stakeholders including clubs that expressed an interest in being involved in the PlayStation WNPL and WSL.

To be eligible for participation in the PlayStation 4 WNPL and WSL each club has been required to meet a minimum set of standards, with all teams entering in to a three year licence period from 2016-2018.

The inaugural season of the PlayStation 4 WNPL will see double header  games played at Football Federation SA venues ensuring that the highest standard of facilities are used for the competition.
