Australian College of Sport Information Sessions a Success

It was standing room only on Monday night at Coopers Stadium during the first of two information sessions relating to the Australian College of Sport (ACS) Football Program to be run from 2016 at Elite Systems Football Centre.

An overwhelming response has been shown following the announcement of the program in November this year, with in excess of 170 people attending Monday night’s information session and the same number expected this evening.

Football Federation SA (FFSA) Chief Executive Officer Michael Carter addressed attendees advising of FFSA’s background and the benefits to clubs and player development pathways through the ACS.

Head Coach of the ACS program Phil Stubbins provided information on the program including how it will be structured and delivered to South Australian student footballers.

Sue Mounsey, General Manager of Corporate Services at the Australian College of Sport covered the details relating to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) fees and how they are managed.

Trial sessions for the 2016 program commence from Monday 14 December at Elite Systems Football Centre where the program will be based.
