Early Nominations

Nominations are being sent earlier this year for the U16 and U14 age groups to provide players with more development and better preparation for the tournament.

Player nominations for the U12 age group will be sent later in the year. Closer to the time when current U12 and U10 Girls Skill Acquisition programs conclude.

Training sessions for selected players will be designed to avoid conflict with club training.

Coach Education

Along with giving players and coaches a longer period to prepare for the tournament, coaching applicants will be invited to attend a Coach Education Session on Saturday 30th April with Technical Director Airton Andrioli.

Airton will run a workshop on Saturday 30th April at The Parks for STIC coach applicants which will focus on the sessions that are conducted by the National team and in particular on the terminology and rationale behind the playing style which can then be implemented as well.

If you have any questions regarding the above information or the STIC Program, please contact Jonathan Ruse on 8340 3088 or jonathan.ruse@ffsa.com.au

The Championships will be held on Saturday 1  and Sunday 2 October 2016.
