April School Holiday Futsal Carnival
The recent School Holiday Futsal Carnival held by Football Federation SA (FFSA) at The Parks Recreation Centre was a great success.
Team nomination numbers exceeded initial expectations resulting in both days entrants at capacity with a total of 38 teams participating in 80 games.
Teams ranged from the Under 9 age group through to Under 18's with both boy and girl players.
An additional coup involved the participation of regional based teams in Bordertown, Port Pirie and Mount Gambier.
Over 200 players in total participated in the carnival, from those who had not played futsal before to those who recently represented South Australia at the National Futsal Championships in January.
FFSA would like to thank all who contributed to the success of the carnival - referee's, players, coaches, parents and The Parks Recreation Centre.
