National Volunteer Week - FFSA Thanks YOU!

Football Federation SA would like to take the opportunity during National Volunteer Week (9-15 May) to thank all volunteers for their contribution to Football in South Australia.

Volunteers are often referred to as the lifeline of sporting organisations and clubs as their contribution is imperative to the delivery of services and the sustainability of sport in Australia. Volunteering is also important to the development and cohesion of communities, particularly those in rural areas as sporting clubs often provide a focal point for community activity.

The theme of National Volunteer Week is Give Happy, Live Happy. This theme highlights the contribution that volunteers make across Australia and also supports the research that people who volunteer live happier and healthier lives.

FFSA appreciates and acknowledges the hard work and dedication of each and every volunteer for contributing their time and effort to delivering the sport of football in South Australia.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
